I like making the pieces work together.

Since 2008, I’ve run PC Solutions, a technology consulting practice serving small businesses and nonprofits. That work spans office networks, Windows systems, business software, cloud services, security, and backup and recovery.

The useful part is understanding the whole situation: listening to owners and staff, finding where tools fail to connect, working with vendors, and helping people operate what comes next.

Databoxes is the umbrella for my independent practice and projects. My focus here is AI assistants, workflow automation, and custom tools built around a specific piece of work.

My independent projects explore voice agents with memory and follow-up, community coordination, and structured technology assessments. They are prototypes and work in development, with their status and limits explained alongside the examples.

I use Python, TypeScript, APIs, databases, and AI-assisted development. I’m particularly interested in what an operator can see: what happened, what was saved, what needs attention, and how to recover when something goes wrong.

I start with the people, the existing process, and the constraints. We choose a scope that can be checked, make the unknowns visible, and agree what a useful result looks like before building.

That might lead to a focused implementation, a prototype, or a recommendation to use what you already have. Documentation, review, and handoff belong in the scope from the beginning.
